BOOK SYNOPSIS:
The world faces the 21st century with three major global crises: 1) the predictable end of capitalism as the dominant economic system; 2) the environmental degradation of planet Earth; and, 3) the escalation of international conflicts. The possibility that these crises threaten the survival of mankind puts the need for the invention of the future to change the world where we live in. The expression Invention of the Future to change the world means the formulation or proposal of creating a world diametrically opposite to what we live in the moment.
The purpose of this book is to propose changes in the economic, political, social, international and environmental systems of planet Earth to overcome its crises that threaten the future of humanity, avoiding its collapse. In addition to Chapter 1 (Introduction), this book is made up of Chapter 2 (The Foreseeable End of Capitalism as the Dominant Economic System in the 21st Century), Chapter 3 (The Environmental Degradation of Planet Earth in the 21st Century), Chapter 4 (The international conflicts in the 21st century) and Chapter 5 (How to invent the future to change the world).
This book seeks fundamentally to build a future that provides economic and social progress that is shared by the entire world population, environmental sustainability that avoids the depletion of the Earth’s natural resources and catastrophic climate change and world peace that contributes to fraternal coexistence among all human beings. The cover of the book shows that the world of the future to be built must rest on the tripod represented by economic and social progress, environmental sustainability and world peace.
